Which circle?
Ring Around the Rosie?
Or
Child Trafficking?
An estimated 5.5 million children are victims of trafficking, an illegal enterprise that generates an estimated $32 billion in yearly profits. Human trafficking cases have been reported in every state in the United States. Rates are particularly high in California, Texas, Florida, and New York.
5.5 million......!!!!!
Think about that number. The very essence of childhood screams teddy bear, blankets, hugs, smiles, and laughter at the very least.
The U.S. Fund for UNICEF has launched The End Trafficking project to raise awareness about child trafficking and mobilize communities within the United States to take meaningful action to help protect children. In partnership with concerned individuals and groups, the initiative aims to bring us all closer to a day when ZERO children are exploited.
So who Is UNICEF? The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) works in 190 countries and territories to save and improve children's lives.
UNICEF will do whatever it takes to save a child. Will you?
Want to help? Believe in ZERO exploited children.
Take the Pledge. Encourage Ring Around the Rosie.
You may be just one person, but just one person can make a difference.
